HBO shouldnt be so weak

Still the same crappy app.
Id be embarrassed to be running the HBO dev team.

An update that does nothing to fix anything. Obviously they just update to clear out their poor app rating.

When casting to ChromeCast, the HBO NOW app is pretty sad. You have to keep it open with your screen unlocked and idle with the app running in the foreground the entire time your show is playing if you hope to have the ability to pause or rewind or resume the show you are watching.

Fail that, and you better not get any interruptions or use the bathroom or get a phone call because the second you close your phone or move away from the app, you lose your ability to pause, rewind, or resume.

Meanwhile your device can sit next to you and drain its battery while doing nothing.

Expected better from a company like HBO.
